The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13503, would be a great choice for your 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis, as long as there is room in front of the radiator and ac condenser for the cooler to mount. Measure to be sure before purchasing, but most likely you will have plenty of room.
The best tip I can give is to do some research on your vehicle. Check the radiator fittings and see if there are NPT (national pipe thread) fittings or Inverted flare fittings. Your vehicle... view full answer...
We have several hitches available for your 2010 Mercurt Grand Marquis. I have included a link to the options that we offer for your reference. The Curt # C12130 that you mentioned is not considered a fit for your 2010, it was a fit from 1992-2009.
Of the hitches that are confirmed as a fit for your I recommend a Class III option like the # 41116. This hitch offers a 2 inch receiver that is compatible with a wide range of towing products, and a hitch accessories.

You should not have to remove any body panels to install Curt trailer hitch # 13707 on your 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing installation for you to view.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4EL. It comes with an extra long ball mount (a long ball is required on this vehicle due to the position of the hitch), interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

If you are referring to the Glacier Rubber Adjusters part # PW99 and you have the typical wheel size of P225/60/R16, then these rubber adjusters will not work for you as they are designed to fit wheels 16-1/2"-19" in diameter and will be too big. Instead, I recommend using the Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters part # PW105 as these are designed to fit wheels 15-18" in diameter which will be a better fit for you. They will not be too small for the factory tire size. The rubber adjusters... view full answer...
There are a few ways to determine what bolt pattern you have on your '60s Serro Scotty trailer wheels with the most common being that you measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of one directly across for an even number of bolt holes or from the center of one to the farthest edge o one of the farther bolt holes for an odd number of bolt holes (see attached photo).
The most common bolt hole hole pattern for a 13" wheel is 5 on 4-1/2" like what you see on the Dexstar Conventional... view full answer...
The # C59496 is the recommended powered taillight converter for your Grand Marquis. It does draw the power needed directly from the vehicle battery rather than pulling it through the vehicle's taillight circuits. The direct battery connection provides a more reliable power source, plus it serves to isolate the vehicle wiring from that of the trailer, protecting it from any short circuits.
The 2010 Grand Marquis uses a combined wiring system which combines the brake lamps and turn signals... view full answer...
You are correct that the Tekonsha 119179 is no longer available and any videos for that product have been removed. We do have the Curt # C59236 which is a very similar 4-pole flat hardwire kit and will work nicely on your 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis.
Unfortunately we have not gotten a chance to shoot any videos for a 2006 Grand Marquis, but I have linked a few of our other install videos below if you want to take a look. view full answer...
The Prostrobe Rocky 8 Pro White Windshield Light # PRS70747 is not waterproof since it is intended to mount to the inside surface of a vehicle windshield using the included suction cup mounts. It is more than bright enough to shine through a windshield. It is so bright that the packaging includes a warning not to look directly at the light!
The standard cigarette lighter style plug (with 10-foot cord) fits into the power receptacle inside most vehicles.
The Rocky 8 uses LED technology... view full answer...
If the tow dolly and vehicle weighs less than 4,000 lbs the Curt hitch part # 13707 would be fine to tow a vehicle in the way you described as thats it's towing capacity. view full answer...
Hey Erman, for a wheelchair carrier I recommend checking out the Flint Hill Goods 30" x 50" Wheelchair Carrier # FHG77ZR. This wheelchair carrier will simply slide into any 2" trailer hitch, has a 48" long loading ramp, and has a nice 500 lb capacity.
If you don't already, you're going to need to add a hitch with the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41116 which is custom fit to your vehicle. view full answer...
The drawbar that is included with Hidden Hitch, part # 90139 (no longer available), is Class II Drawbar 3-1/8" Rise (Kit), part # 36063. It fits 1-1/4 inch, Class II hitch receivers. view full answer...
It will depend on which hitch you have on your Marquis. If you have a Class III hitch, you will have no problem using this cargo carrier. If you have a Class II, you can use it, but you will likely need an adapter if your hitch has a 1-1/4 inch hitch opening. The cargo carrier has a 2-inch shank and you will need the hitch to adapt to the carrier. Using an adapter will reduce tongue weight of the hitch to half, so you will only have about 175 pounds of tongue weight and 62 pounds of that... view full answer...
Lippert Ground Control # LC358590 is designed for 5th wheel trailers so it is not a good option for your bumper pull trailer. There isn't an automated system like this for travel trailers at this time from us. view full answer...
Your owners manual will give you the towing capacity of your vehicle. The hitch receiver, like # C12130 has a higher capacity rating, but you will be limited to the manufacturer's specs. The hitch although rated for more, does not increase your vehicle's rating. In towing, the weakest rating of any of your parts is the one that is your maximum rating of all your parts. In this case, your limit will be 2000 lbs max towing capacity. view full answer...
For your 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis the Curt hitch part # 13707 has been confirmed as a fit and would have the towing capacities of 4,000 lbs total trailer weight and 400 lbs tongue weight.
We have suspension enhancements available for your vehicle, but since I don't know the weight of your boats/trailer it's hard to say if they would be necessary. The Firestone part # F4107 has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle though.
Be sure not to also exceed the towing capacities of your vehicle... view full answer...
Hitch adapters create quite a bit of leverage and movement in the hitches they are installed in. Since 1-1/4 inch hitches are very low in capacity already it's not a good idea to use an adapter like the part # HTAD to tow with.
You'd just need to get a 1-1/4 inch ball mount to fit the hitch and there'd be no need for an adapter like the # 3594. view full answer...
Other than the color, and the fact that they were manufactured by two different companies, the Firestone # F4107 and the Air Lift # AL60798 are pretty identical. Both springs kits have the same weight rating, and both are rated for air pressures between 5-35 psi.
What makes the Air Lift product more attractive is its lifetime warranty, versus the 2 year warranty offered by Firestone. Also, the Air Lift kit is a few dollars less expensive, so the Air Lift # AL60798 would be my recommendation. view full answer...
Although they may be similar, the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11140504 only works with the 1998-2003 Ford Crown Victoria according to the manufacturer. In order to add a wiring harness to your 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis you will need to use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. view full answer...
Your 1-1/4 inch receiver on your Grand Marquis is most likely a Class II, but without an ID sticker or part number to confirm, I couldn't say for sure. This means that your hitch likely has a tongue weight capacity (maximum amount of downward force that can be applied to hitch without damaging it) ranging from 200-350 lbs. The fact that there's a reinforcing ring around it would lend credence to the fact that it's a Class II, but there are a few manufacturers that have made class I's with... view full answer...
On the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Kit, part # F4107, the inflation valves need to be installed in a protected area that is easily accessible. You might check inside the trunk area to see if there is a place where the inflation valve can be installed. You will need to drill a 5/16 inch hole for the inflation valve. If you drill a hole in the trunk area I would recommend to use a sealer when installing the valve to keep exhaust fumes and debris from entering the trunk area.
